Membership is open to
any student currently in the 8th through 12th grades at New Heights Middle
School or Central High School who:
- had been actively involved in/or
commits to be actively involved in local prevention efforts at their
school or in their community;
- expresses a high interest in the
prevention of risky behaviors such as violence, alcohol, tobacco and
other drug use and sexual activity before marriage;
- will commit time and energy to local
and county planning and delivery of activities, including programs for
elementary, middle and high schools;
- will commit to attending scheduled
club meetings, retreats and activities;
- will commit to serving as youth staff
at youth programs and other TI events as supported by the PYDC and
partnering agencies;
- will complete and submit application
to the TI Advisor;
- will commit to an alcohol, tobacco
and drug free lifestyle;
- maintain a 2.0 GPA;
- and agrees to represent Teen
Institute in a professional, ethical, and dedicated manner
